Overview
The stage is set for the final phase of the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople. The Ottoman army, led by Mehmed, intensifies its efforts, with ships transported overland into the Golden Horn, shocking the Byzantine defenders. Amid panic in the city, Konstantinos reluctantly trusts Francesco and his knights, while Plethon plots to set the Ottoman fleet ablaze. Inside the city, Saltuk devises a rescue plan with Maria. Mehmed, unwavering in his determination, rallies his council and declares his resolve to take the city at all costs. As dawn approaches, the Ottoman army prepares for the ultimate assault, and the fearful Byzantine citizens brace themselves for the impending fall of Constantinople. Victory seems imminent for the Ottomans.
