Overview

A college professor's serene life becomes hectic when Navy investigators demand his explanation of missing government property issued to him during the war. Complications ensue (most of them funny) when Professor King begins his search for a misplaced destroyer. Especially amusing are his attempts at reconciliation with his wife, country and the Navy. at reconciliation with his wife, country and the Navy.
