Representing the city's the diverse cuisine, the chefs will have to strategize what ingredients to use in round one in hopes to knock Alex out of the competition. Judges Marcus Samuelsson and Leah Cohen keep the Big Apple in mind as the remaining chefs use their skills to vie for the top spot.
