Britten: War Requiem BBC2 joins Radio 3 in stereo for tonight's Promenade Concert from the Royal Albert Hall. The War Requiem is one of the major choral works of this century: a passionate denunciation of war, expressed through a setting of the Latin Mass for the Dead interspersed with the anti-war poems of Wilfred Owen.
