Connor admits to James that he was never able to convince Brooke to forget about Ridge. Sheila urges Brooke to break up with James and pursue Ridge, but Brooke is solely interested in James. James buys an engagement ring for Brooke. Thorne urges Ridge to pursue Brooke before it's too late. James calls Brooke and asks her if she is available for a romantic evening. Brooke is thrilled.
