Road policing officer Sgt Gladwin and PC Hammond are called out when a van with a trailer crashes on a motorway on the Avon and Somerset border. There is debris all over the road threatening the lives of unsuspecting motorists coming up at speed towards the metal panels strewn across the carriageway in the dark
