Carrie departs suddenly and secretly to Japan for a week's holiday, leaving in her wake a disgruntled crew. Michael orders Chris and Meredith to join Darryl Neilson over dinner to discuss new pharmaceutical products. Jenny is pleased that Nick seems to have accepted her relationshop with Peter. But Nick is just biding his game.
