Overview
JangGeum tries to escape to HanYang City but fails every time. One day, JangDug, a government servant, tells JangGeum how to escape. However, JangGeum fails to escape again and is taken back to the government office. JangDug gives a piece of advice to JangGeum, telling her to learn how to give up. JangGeum wonders why JangDug, who is a government servant as she is, is being treated differently other slaves. Meanwhile, Min has arrived in JeJu Island from HanYang city and finds JangGeum.
