After the monologue, there's a desk segment where Johnny makes fun of the announced new fall TV shows (including the as-yet-unseen 'Knight Rider' and 'Silver Spoons'). Sylvester Stallone is the first guest and discusses his experiences making his new film, 'Rocky III'. Following Stallone, Steve Martin makes a brilliant appearance as usual and promotes his hilarious new film 'Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid'. A very funny show!
