Overview
Erica and Phil find themselves separated from their dates at the end of the night. She makes more cracks about Nick's odd interest in Phil. He figures they hit it off quickly because they have the right chemistry. Biology, Erica corrects him. Phil gets the hint and tells to stop stalling and tell him what she knows. She assures she will as soon as they're alone in a more private place. Ted laments having been too hard on Philip because he had Nick Davis' blood in his veins. Ruth reassures him that Phil turned out well because he's their son. Ted fears they could soon lose him. He hopes that only five still know who the real parents are. The Brents are relieved when Phil arrives home safely and goes to bed. Ruth comments that they worried for nothing. The following afternoon at work Joe reassures Ruth that having observed Nick at the prom, he's confident Nick won't tell Philip the truth. Ruth wishes she could believe that. Joe also speculates
