Kendall insists on a DNA test after hearing Babe refer to Bess as Miranda, not accepting her answer that it's 'her middle name', and David takes the sample. Mary congratulates Greenlee on snaring the heir to the Cambias fortune, and Greenlee brushes her mother off. J.R. demands that Babe explain to him exactly whose baby died in the river that day.
